History / Operations

Galaxy Pallets (1998) Inc. is located at 124 Erie Street in Smithville, Ontario, Canada. For approximately forty seven years, company President, Mr. Bruce McFarlane, has led thirty-three employees in the building of pallets, specialty box items and flower racks. The company is situated on a 6 acre parcel of land, which houses two buildings. The first building is used for cutting raw materials while the second is utilized for the assembly of finished products along with housing office space. Our remaining four acres encompasses raw material and finished goods storage with plenty of room left over for future expansion of the business.

Credentials / Certification

Galaxy Pallets has been a long standing member of the Canadian Wood Pallet and Container Association and is a registered facility member of the Canadian Food  Inspection Agency. We have been operating under the Facility Certification Number CA-00068 since October of 2001. This certification allows us to produce pallets and wood products suitable for export to foreign countries. We produce products under a stringent set of guidelines set out by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency; with traceability of product right down to the mill the raw materials originated from. Being a member of the certification program, we are audited a minimum of twice annually to ensure we are in compliance with all standards and the latest revision requirements of the certification program.

What We Do

Our trained and knowledgeable staff is equipped to assist our valued customers in taking a prototype design or concept and making it a reality. We will work with you to ensure you receive the best possible product. We can assist in cost cutting measures and will suggest alternatives to ensure you are getting the best possible product while staying within your costing guidelines. For instance, softwood lumber configured in the right manner can produce the same structural integrity as hardwood; while realizing substantial savings to the customer.
